Saint-Paul-sur-Yenne Library
Description
The library has been designed to be a pleasant, friendly place to meet and exchange ideas. Bright and comfortable, it encourages moments of relaxation and culture.
Holdings: The library's holdings have grown thanks to private donations and purchases. The library not only owns books, but also borrows them from Savoie-biblio. This makes for a richer library, as readers can reserve books from a large and varied collection, which is regularly renewed. There are books for both adults and children. Each section has novels, comics, albums (for babies and children) and documentaries. It is also possible to borrow CDs and some press books. Themed tables are offered on a regular basis. Finally, board games are available for visitors to play during the library's opening hours. These games are on loan from the "Atelier des Jeux" in Yenne and are renewed regularly. The team: 8 volunteers run the library. They are in charge of opening hours, stock and activities. Working closely with the municipal team, they are committed to bringing the library to life, and are guarantors of the Good Reader Charter.
