Domaine Carrel & Senger

A winegrower since 1830 (and winegrower of the year 2023 in the Guide Hachette), our estate has endured for 6 generations in the commune of Jongieux, in the Savoie department and more precisely in the Savoyard foreland, on the left bank of the Rhône.

The estate is located north of Chambéry. The vineyards have been planted on the marly limestone foothills of Mont du Chat since the 16th century; this is the historic terroir of the Altesse grape variety, which gives rise in particular to Roussette de Savoie du Cru Marestel. Our 33-hectare estate, with its pioneering spirit, still strives to produce top-quality wines that reflect their terroir. Following the complete renovation of the winery and tasting room, the 6th generation of winegrowers will welcome you to share their passion during a complete wine tour, and offer you one of the most beautiful views of the Rhône and the historic hillside of Marestel. The guest rooms are opened since June 2024.
