Description

A very easy circuit, ideal for a family bike ride, which explores the Rhône’s alluvial plain. Running between the river Rhône and vine-covered hillsides, this itinerary is part-road/part-path, offering a varied loop around the Lagneux marsh.
Between the Rhône river and the vineyards, this half-road, half-trail itinerary offers a varied loop around the Lagneux marsh. From the Maison de la Dent du Chat, head towards the church. 50 m further on, turn right and take the passage under the D1504, then the small bridge on your right. Continue on a wide track for 1.5 km. Turn right to join and cross the D921. The itinerary then takes small roads through the hamlet of Les Bernards, skirting the Lagneux marshes at the foot of the hills. After the chapel, at Petit Lagneux, turn left, then cross the D921 again to reach the banks of the Rhône. After a short passage through the woods, leave the banks of the Rhône and turn left onto the wide track that takes you back to Yenne. The end of the route follows the same itinerary as the outward journey. You can return straight ahead along the Rhône on an attractive path through the undergrowth.
